Taleemabad — Operated by Orenda Welfare Trust

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of Taleemabad’s platforms, applications, and services, including the Taleemabad Student App, Rumi AI Coaching, SchoolPilot, and GovIntel (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Taleemabad

Taleemabad is an education technology platform operated by Orenda Welfare Trust, a registered entity in Pakistan. Our Services are designed to improve teaching and learning in schools through AI-powered coaching, digital learning content, and school management tools.

2. Who Can Use the Services

The Services are available to:

  • Teachers enrolled in Taleemabad coaching and certification programs through their schools or education departments
  • School administrators using SchoolPilot for school management
  • Government education officials using GovIntel dashboards and reporting tools

For institutional users (teachers, school administrators, government officials), access is typically provided through agreements between Taleemabad and the relevant education institution or government body.

Children under 13 may only use the Taleemabad Student App under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or authorized educational institution.

3. Use of the Services

3.1 Permitted Use

The Services are provided exclusively for educational purposes. You agree to use the Services only for:

  • Teaching, learning, and professional development
  • School administration and management
  • Education data analysis and decision-making
  • Research and program evaluation (with appropriate authorization)

3.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any commercial, advertising, or non-educational purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the Services
  • Share login credentials or provide unauthorized access to others
  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated data (including audio recordings not from genuine classroom sessions)
  • Use the Services to harass, monitor, or evaluate teachers in a punitive manner
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services

4. Accounts and Access

  • Institutional users receive access through their school, district, or government body. Access may be revoked if the institutional agreement ends.
  • Individual users (students, parents) may create accounts through the Taleemabad Student App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Taleemabad Content

All learning content, videos, lesson plans, assessments, and platform features are the intellectual property of Orenda Welfare Trust or its licensors. You may use this content solely through the Services for educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

5.2 User-Submitted Content

When you submit content to the Services (such as audio recordings for Rumi coaching), you grant Taleemabad a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and analyze that content for the purpose of providing the Services and improving educational outcomes. Audio recordings are processed for AI analysis and are not permanently stored (see our Privacy Policy for details).

6. AI Coaching (Rumi)

Rumi provides AI-generated coaching feedback based on analysis of classroom audio recordings. Important points:

  • Rumi is a coaching support tool, not a teacher evaluation or disciplinary tool.
  • AI-generated feedback is advisory. Teachers should use professional judgment in applying feedback.
  • Teachers may dispute or provide feedback on any AI-generated coaching response.
  • Rumi’s analysis benchmarks against established pedagogical frameworks (World Bank Teach framework, Danielson Framework) but does not replace human professional judgment.

7. Data and Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at taleemabad.com/privacy-policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

8. Government and Institutional Agreements

Where the Services are provided under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or contract with a government body or educational institution, the terms of that agreement may supplement or modify these Terms for institutional users. In case of conflict between these Terms and an institutional agreement, the institutional agreement shall prevail for users covered by that agreement.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Taleemabad provides the Services “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • Taleemabad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.
  • Taleemabad’s total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the fees paid by the user (or the user’s institution) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or via email to institutional contacts. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.
